Gun cleaning between 2k

Reading the tech sheets i see it says to clean the gun between coats of 2k, but it also states that the 2k has a flash time from 5-10 minutes. Im spraying three coats on my doors tonight or in the morning. When I shot the body i mixed about a 24 oz to spray my whole body cup was basically empty betwen coats, but since the doors dont take very much, can I get away with mixing a little less and shooting the three coats without cleaning the gun between coats?? Its about 70 degrees around here lately, so its not hot.
Or should I dump out the cup between coats and spray some reducer through it??

Keeping your gun working properly between coats of 2K is a matter of judgement. On small areas, sometimes the fluid nozzle, air cap, and cup vent can be checked and cleaned between coats without fully flushing the gun, but if you have problems, it's best to return to the tech sheet advice.

get a large ketchup bottle or similar . between coats empty the cup , wipe out with paper towel the put the squirt bottle in the bottom of the cup and rinse the nozzle good. if you let primer set for 10 min in the gun the solids will collect in the nozzle and cut flow.
