I noticed how harbor freights lineup and pricing has changed in the last few years. Looking into their Icon socket & rachets lineup, as I've heard somebuddy say it's supposedly the old snap on lineup. Definitely not low priced though. Use their step bits & countersinks. They have been busted in loosing lawsuits for selling same floor jacks , etc as Snap-On, with a different paintjob for the hf price range. By that, it is always worth considering some of their better stuff now than name brands are becoming overpriced overseas made products.
Now spray guns, other than backup/throw away use, It would take some convincing from people I know for me to ever get another one.
Now here's something low priced to consider. I do the occasional pawn shop quick walk throughs looking for the random they don't know what they got deals. Saw a Titan Capspray 115 turbine unit with canister gun for $400. Well over a grand years ago for these new, approx $400 for a gravity feed gun now, and whatever$ for other tips. While I have yet to try with paint or clear yet (would rather an automotive grade gun), I will say a modern 6 stage turbine unit like mine I purchased for waterborne paint at work did awesome for epoxy, thick g-2 primer, & 2k primer for me. You can plug in to 110 anywhere and don't need driers or oil coalescing filters like with an air compressor. Heated air is still a complaint for professionals doing more than small parts, but you can be smarter than the average idiot & place the turbine unit near an ac unit to cool down the air temps as I've done. Also, can use a longer hose to drop gun air temps. Again, I haven't tested with actual automotive paints or clears, but if you can get a high-end unit for cheap, I'd put it above any China crap pneumatic spray guns. Not referring to cheaper turbine units, would not consider.
Just a thought, from verified experience.
