hi temp clear?

last year I cleaned and polished my valve covers and throttle body, and sprayed them with a high temp clear out of a rattle can. If I decide to redo them, is there a particular SPI clear that would be better for high temps?

these are steel valve covers, so I know adhesion might be an issue, so please advise on the best method for solving that problems too.

here's the valve covers last year, they have turned a little yellow since then

I think the regular clear would be about the same as far as adhesion, a little better because of the ISO's but still not perfect.

Also these items don't need a high temp.
