How epoxy looks!

SPI grey epoxy primer only so far on 1955 T-Bird.

Had to post this, I get a lot of calls epoxy is too shinny, what do i do?
My answer is you sprayed it perfect and here is a perfect example!

Yeah....I'm more of a sander than a sprayer.... maybe someday I'll get 'er that smooth!

Just don't try to make the first coat look like that. If I had to guess I would think that there is three on that, but it could be two.

yeah I have had a few guys say they wont use the spi epoxy anymore because its too shiny. mostly the corvette guys since its not the correct sheen for the frame.

corvette guys dont use anything not dug straight out of gm's butt .

i just spent a lot of time with one of them. on and on about ncrs stuff. had to be lacquer and fact perfect . right up until he found out he would 150k in a car worth 75k . if your going for a top flight car you best start with a med flight car.
