how to treat small bare metal spot

hey guys. im finished blocking my trunklid and i developed one small bare metal spot the size of a quarter. i started by taking the lid down to bare metal, 2 coats of epoxy, filler, then 3 coats of high build. do i need to spray it on or is there another easy way without having to bust out the gun?

thank you

If everything is perfectly blocked with finer grits and I have just one little high spot the size of a quarter I'll often just hit it a few strokes with a bodyfile and spot prime the area. Watch your sanding pressure on hoods, roofs and decklids-go light. At this stage spray the primer.

good info. its not a high spot, its the back corner where the lid is bent 90 degrees for the lip. it seemed to be an area where the epoxy is thin

i airbrush warm epoxy on spots like that, then blend in...a little too often...
