I should have known better. I do know better but I thought I could out smart the chemisty...with a heat gun.
Yesterday I had some small stuff to paint. Brackets and little things. Along with a continental kit face plate. See picture
70 degrees. 99% humidity. It rained all day long. For hours non stop. Sealed everything sprayed basecoat it looked fine. Come back in 10 mins for round 2 and everything looked hazy. Milky. Blushing. Sprayed another coat. Looked fine. 10 min later. Milky. Used a heat gun to kind of evenly go over everything from about 1 ft away. It cleared up the milkyness..went to clear it and ...it's all bad. The 2 bigger pieces need respray. The brackets and small things are fine.
Big fail. Just wanted to put it out there.. don't paint anything in such high humidity and mild temperature in a garage setting atleast.
That is all
