I need to remove some 2k sprayed earlier today for filler work. Help!!

It is after midnight Friday night and I do not know if Barry or Andy works on Saturdays. I did my first 2k today and probably made a mistake. One of the panels I shot today with 2k needs some filler on a dollar size dent near the bottom of it. I have researched this site and obviously fresh 2k is not to have filler put on it and I do not have the weeks to let it cure. My plan is to strip the bottom 4 inches of the panel to metal (a total of approximately 32 sq inches), reshoot two coats of epoxy on the bare area and do the needed body work. After the filler is worked out I plan to reshoot with epoxy than reapply the 2k just to that part of the fender to bring it up level with what is on it.

Are there any potential disasters with my plan?

Just sand the 2K off in that area with 120 or 180 and feather the 2k back far enough to do your filler work. It'll be fine.

What Bob said. If you happen to hit metal when you're doing this, just spot it in with epoxy. Make sure the 2k is feathered out far enough that the epoxy is being sprayed on sanded 2k.

Thank you for your prompt replies. It is out to the garage for some more tinkering.
