Great job Dean. Hard work paid off.
Looking forward to hearing how they work for you.I will be putting these blocks to use starting next week as I am back on the kit car I was working on previously.
I'm going tonwatch this tomorrow at work on the clock lol
to his defense most epoxies aren't sandable or well at least don't sand well. The only epoxy I have ever used that is somewhat sandable/buildable like SPI would be the PPG LV line. I remember when he used to trash on poly primers, but now he uses them more and more. Sometimes it just takes a min for people to come around. He has his methods and I doubt he will change much, and honestly I don't know if SPI epoxy would be a good fit for him. It can be a sensitive material and when spraying it with a heavy hand it can get away from you easily.I've watched some of his videos. Though accomplished at what he does, he doesn't know it all, or refuses to see what modern technology has brought to the table. I watched one video where he went on a lunatic rant about epoxy. How epoxy isn't meant to be sanded, and how lousy it sands. Obviously he has heard or tried SPI epoxy.
I was surprised to see the video about Black Diamond blocks. I watched it a day or 2two ago.
Ya, over the years I just tuned out when he would constantly yell and bitch about customers. It was funny early on when he would bitch about employees that would come and go, but then it was just constant and I really believe that is why his sub count is lower than it really should be for a channel that does deliver a lot of information. The dude is a hard worker without a doubt and honestly deserves more, but again his attitude just pushes a lot of people away.I watched the video...thats probably the most calm I've ever seen my friend Pete lol

Now his new thing with the tool reviews, I think he is onto something with that. He just needs to stay calm and keep it honest.
Although his one review on this certain $20 primer gun was completely wrong. I knew it was wrong, but for $20 I just had to prove it to myself, lol.
He rant and raved about this gun and poly primer. I knew it was a terrible idea, but for $20, why not, lol.

I think that’s the gun I use to spray upholstery contact adhesive. It sucks for that too!Ya, over the years I just tuned out when he would constantly yell and bitch about customers. Don
Thats a terrible idea.Rut ro, I just bought that gun to try it on epoxy.
@JimKueneman blamed me for creating the need to get the A100 twinsTomorrow I plan to put a solid 8hrs on my car using the blocks. These blocks are so nice it almost makes me want to dump another 70 grand in a pile of scrap metal
Went well.i got about 80% of filler work done on the deck lid and back in epoxy yesterday. Tomorrow I plan to hit it with 180 and skim whatever needs skimming and epoxy again. That's when I will do my review video
