icing over 2k

I need to fix a few very small imperfections and will be using some icing over the 2k.... after sanding smooth is it an acceptable practice to go right back over the icing with more coats of 2k or do these spots need hit with epoxy first???

I have used Turbo over small spots of icing. I can't think of why it would hurt as long as you seal the 2k when you are all done. I wouldn't do it if you rub through to bare metal.

Make sure you finish the icing with 180 grit or finer.

Make sure any urethane surface that icing will be applied to is scuffed for adhesion.
