Induction time for SPI epoxy primer?

Worn Out Welder

I’ve read the various induction times and tech data.
The question is ;
Is it important or necessary to induce the first two coats for extended times beyond the minimum to get longer lasting UV resistance?
Did I miss something on the reasoning behind a
( for example) 24 hr induction time?

Spi epoxy does NOT need to be induced, but just 30 mins does make it more friendly for not-so-perfect conditions.

If you add a reducer, you must give it 30 min induction.

UVs.
You have UV protection induced or not; frames underneath the car or inside a vehicle do not matter as you cannot get a suntan in those areas as uv does not bend.

4-hour induction:
This is for an item exposed to the sun's UVs, such as a mailbox, gate, etc.
The 4-hour induction is getting the epoxy to a cure point where humidity does not affect the UV.
