Having fun learning!
We are starting to paint the Dart, and I wanted something that would help keep debris from the paint. My first go around with plastic, 2x3 studs, a box fan, and a furnace filter was... sub-optimal. I had already seen inflatable booths, so it was in the back of my mind. I sprang for one, and on Saturday we set it up. My review is this. You need lights in the booth, and it is meant for outdoor use as it does NOT contain all of the fumes or paint. There is an add-on that they sell to cover a filter so you can use a cylinder fan to add some negative pressure to the filter, and then direct that exhaust outside the building. When we did that, overspray and fumes in the garage were not a problem. If you use the booth inside, don’t expect it to contain all the fumes and paint. Just for giggles, here is my son and I inflating the booth for the first time.
