is it ok to fill bondo with epoxy over it that has pinholes with small drops of epoxy?

It would work but I would think, a razor blade and some two part glazing putty would be safer long term.
I have done it with epoxy but then it may have sat a week before i can get back on the car and remember liquid in a creator dries different then on a flat surface.

Yes as Barry state. I did it once on an old classic I was repairing the roof on. I painted a day or so later and then overtime this guy would go to a car show those places filled with epoxy would swell up and look like tiny blisters.
So I strongly suggest using glaze putty as Barry pointed out. Just my 2 pints worth

Interesting info as I've been doing just this very thing...:05.18-flustered:

I have given each step several day's to weeks to cure however so I'm hoping I'm safe as far as bubble and blisters go. Thankfully my real experiment at using the epoxy for filling pinholes was low on the back of the cab so it will never show...

^ ive done what noobdude does, im never in a hurry and sure seems to always a have just a little epoxy left over, and never had a problem, but its always good to hear what experiences people have had and recommend!
