Got to talk to Barry this morning and just wanted to say what a great guy! He spent probably a half hour or so on the phone with me and answered my questions and really went the extra mile. Thanks again guys for the T-Shirts and letting us try your Production Clear out for free! Wow. I know my Boss will appreciate the Wizards wipe down as well. You have a won me over in a big way. And yes I've gotten the go ahead from my Boss to switch over to all of your products that I want. I'm looking forward to it. Thank you again Barry and Andy. If any of you are on the fence about dealing with Barry and SPI I would highly encourage you to try them out.
 
once you use the production clear for a little bit i would like to hear your feedback on it. ive been using spi for 15 years and that is the one product of theirs i have never used.
 
Yes Customer service is great! I use the Euro clear every day in my shop under every condition on collision repairs and restorations. Started out using Production clear but can't remember why I switched to Euro clear but glad I did. Yes like to hear feed back.
 
I also want to take this opportunity to thank Barry for helping me every time I call him. There was some questions I had been looking for answers to for probably 20-25 years. Seems no one knew the answers. From jobbers to paint reps to painters with 25-50 years experience. Barry answered them for me and I learned alot in our short conversation. Again THANK YOU BARRY FOR ALL YOU DO.
 
In my entire life I have never seen or heard of a business that has the integrity and ethics of Barry and his crew at SPI! I want to get on the band wagon to "hats off to Barry" and his team.
 
They are one of a kind that's for sure. I looked into them for a couple years before I took the plunge and the only regret I have is not taking that plunge sooner. Barry and the guys at SPI are absolutely awesome and their products are by far the best bar none.
 
Just have to tell my recent experience.Painted a 1969 coronet convertible using all SPI products except base coat[which was from Chad,great stuff too]and have to say it is awesome stuff.It got even more awesome looking after my brother brought in his 1970 1/2 Z28 to paint in the booth.He bought all PPG products.First they sold him the wrong clearcoat catalyst and he jambed his doors with it before we caught it.They also sold him DCU2042 clear which practically dries before it hits the car! The base coat metallics do not lay out anywhere near as good as the Motobase I just used.
I really wasn't needing a back to back comparison because I was so impressed with SPI,but using PPG along with their amateur customer service really cemented my thoughts of SPI.
Now Barry,don't get too big of a head LOL. I really like your customer service and your "guy next door" way of talking us through things.Great company.
 
We here in Southside VA are In the middle of the hottest weather we've had this year. Actually had to spray one today so it could go back together tomorrow. I slept in this morning instead of getting in early and getting the car shot. So by the time I finished taping and started spraying it was 96 degrees and rising. Sprayed the clear (Euro2020) when it was 103 in the shop. Thanks to the terrific SPI products, like the Urethane Retarder and SPI 895 reducer, it laid out great, no solvent pop, no dry spray. Sprayed like it was 80 degrees instead of 103. Thank you Barry for such great products!
 
Thanks guys!! I love what I do, that is the big difference and no better feeling then texting and talking weekly for months on a project and having the job come out perfect.
