looking for a falcon

Yes, people are quite proud of the old junk cars these days.
I usually throw them a realistic offer with the line "if you don't get a better offer give me a call."

my truck is a commercial. 2 speed rear end . i have found out the headlights are worth 500 . surprisingly the sheet metal survived. even the running boards are straight.

. . . found one that was reasonable but it was 900 miles away. that adds a bunch .

The shipping rates for cars and motorcycles start at about $400. Just shipped a car to California and that what it cost. Got a price for shipping a motorcycle from Florida to Arizona and it was about the same.

i guess i am going to sell the truck to buy parts for the 67 cougar. no way in hell i will pay 4k for a 1200 dollar car. i found one here that is complete orig and running but rough. 4500 is insane . i am researching the truck but info on big trucks is hard to find. i only found one. it had a dump bed and still ran . went to auction . went for over 15k . but then mine is far from being a survivor . it did run when tore down .

wow my godparents who lived across the dtreet had two of them. a red convertable and white hardtop fully original

That's a pretty good deal. I had a Datsun 240Z shipped from SoCal to me here in Va and it was $1100. That was the cheapest I could find out of 4 quotes.

I was just checking rates on having a Harley shipped from Port Orange, Florida and High Point, North Carolina. Quotes ranged from $450 to over $1200.

few year back i was looking to buy a 49 olds in tenn . shipping was going to be 1400 and when i told him it was not running and in pieces he said he would not haul it at any price. it is tough to find a hauler with winch service and if you do it will cost way more . on a side note. few years ago i bought a 69 cougar but after seeing how rusty it was i just sold it to someone who wanted the motor. i ended up with the grill /tail light/ hood . last night looking for parts for the 67 i found the the grille is worth 1600 , t/l 250 , hood is worth 500 . if i had known i would hae stripped it to the boane .
