Mixed Epoxy Separated??

Hi Guys
So, I mixed up a batch of SPI gray epoxy and let it sit overnight, for a long induction period. The next morning, the epoxy had separated into two phases. I mixed it and shot it and it worked OK (except for the fish eye problem, which has been discussed extensively in another thread titled ARGHHHH). So I left it overnight and it separated again. I then left it in the mix cup and a few weeks later, it is a solid block of epoxy, surrounded by an oily fluid, which will not evaporate easily. I left it out for a couple days and the oily fluid remains in the uncovered plastic container.

Any thoughts about what is happening here? Is this separation to be expected?

First time I used the white epoxy, I mixed it up and let it induce over night.
The next morning I saw the phase seperation and called Barry.
He said it is normal for the heavier solids to drop out and just stir it up and use it.

I have no idea what the non cured stuff is that floated to the top, prolly some resin or such.

I have only left black in a mixing cup and solidify, makes a nice rubbery hockey puck, lol. No phase seperation that I notice.

Perfectly normal, once mixed will start separating in about 2 hours, if reducer is involved will start earlier, that is why you DO NOT leave in gun as it will plug up gun in about two hours of setting.
As long as you can mix it it is good.
I just dumped some white today that was over a week old and still good as it would mix but used what i needed and through rest in recycler.
