Monster energy green/yellow

Need to come up with the really bright green/yellow to match the monster energy logo. I've seen it in a few shades but the brighter the better.
I'm sure i can make something up but i was curious if anyone has a color suggestion to start with for a match..

Just trying to make my life easier.

Was also thinking that color information might be a good topic to have underneath shop talk.. That is one of the most common questions i get when someone calls in to order paint. Everybody that needs to paint something has to pick out a color and it might be a good place to discuss color options.

Just a thought.

Look in my sportbike gallery, black and green hayabusa near the top. Called antifreeze green. Is this the color you are looking for?

Not sure.. I looked at that color and i just cant decide if i want something like that or a solid lime green and bright yellow..

If you want a solid lime green then there is always kawi green. Code is 777. Find the formula then if you want to tweak it you can add more green or yellow to it to make it to your liking.

That might be a good place to start, i can always look at what's in it and try mixing up some colors..
With a charcoal, do you think i should go solid or no?

Either one will look good.777 is a pretty nice, bright solid lime green. The antifreeze or anything like it will also require a white base then a few or more coats of the green over. Kawi green covers in like 2-3 coats so it would be easier with less of a paint edge.

I'm going to pinstripe it so i'm not going to be overly concerned with paint edge.. I used the kawi green on dually though. so unsure i want to do the same.. I think i need to go through some color books.

Thats what I was thinking. Either a kawasaki green (my brother had a kx80 when we were kids that was loud and bright he terroized the neighbors with) or a mopar color.
Maybe a combo of limelight green fj5 and sassy grass green fj6 could work? Just a thought not having sprayed any.
The sassy grass looks like it may really lighten up in the sun. Heres a picture I found of the two next to one another.

Heres a thread with more pics of the colors.

I haven't painted much for retina seering green. Cept the first thing I ever painted, my grandpas fishing boat. He picked out a bright green centari out of the books, all I remember was it was called signal green, that I remember being a pretty dang bright limish green, but that was back in 86ish. I do remember my inexperienced self and the huge hangers I put in it, I swear you could see them a mile away. Wheres the tuners with the huge wings when you need em. They should know there bright obnoxious colors. :D

Good luck.

I'll have to look at the signal green too. What manufacturer?

I'm sorta leaning towards the kawi green. will at least match my dirt bike then.. lol.

As i'm sitting here trying to find a color a comercial just came on with a 2011 mazda that looks like what i'm looking for.. Might be my next search.

Is that a tri-stage? wicked reflection for an oem paint

I'm not sure what it is, but i'm looking for that look.. I browsed that car, and I have found like 5 different shades of that color on the same car. Some are boring some are bright. Hard to tell without mixing i guess. But that picture is what i'm looking for, i'm just afraid it's more of a rendered appearance and that i won't be able to get it..

I don't mind doing a tri-stage or candy to get it.

I just finished shooting that synergy green. It was definitely a wild color. In a shadow it almost looks like John deere green, in the sun it has a goldish tinge, in the shop it looks like a darker metallic, out in the sun it is a bright silver flake. The owner loved the color and just what he wanted, so mission accomplished. lol Definitely mix some up and shoot a test panel before you commit. I shot it over white epoxy, but at 5 coats I had full coverage and looked great! Lighting makes such a huge difference in appearance with this color.
