My fault, the UV clear ran on my passenger door

What is the glaze trick? I re read the thread and dont see how its done.

it's putting a layer of glaze putty over it then sanding it off. i prefer tape . once the sag is cut down i pull the tape off rather than have to sand the putty off. the point is to protect the surrounding area while sanding the sag . using glaze defeats the purpose. imho

lol, got it. I should have been able to figure that one out cause you explained the tape one before.

Shine, what do you use for tape ? Green, yellow or cheapy masking tape ?

the only way to get that out in 2 coats is tape and 320 wet . send me a message if you want the procedure .

Thanks to Shine's method, the door came out PERFECT! Many thanks.

let that sucker cook in the sun for a few weeks before assembly. especially anything that mounts to paint . even if it is cold the uv will cure it out .

naw , only in the 80's and raining. potatoes are loving it .
got a few people wanting cars done. had all but decided to retire but who knows. i may paint but no more builds . i've done 38 frame offs by myself over the years . that's enough for anyone .
