I instantly answered an ad back in Fall of 2005 titled "Free van". I loaded up my truck and trailer, grabbed my wife and newborn daughter and drove 500 miles to drag it out of the owners side yard where it was literally fenced in. We took the fence down to get it out. Bad news it was rolled. Good news it came with a spare parts van. I put one van in the bed of my 72 Cheyenne and one on the trailer.
Fast forward to now 2010. Lots of body work later. 2 gallons of SPI epoxy and then 1 gallon of slick sand poly primer, then SPI 2k, then more SPI expoxy as sealer. I bent the roof back, banged out the dents. It runs and drives.
I started a video documentary in the later stages. I'll try to get them all in order.
2:17 sec. in shows the vans loaded...or the stationary introduction page shows them here. The van on the trailer is the one being restored.
