Need advice on these plastic pieces

These are for an LS but they sell parts so you can make an LS look like an old school fuelie. Lot of money but would look killer in the Impala… ;)

I need a go fund me....

I ordered the nylon rod and plastic welder. On Amazon for about 30 dollars. So I'm going to mess around and see what I come up with. If I don't like it, atleast didn't. Break the bank attempting

Had some time this afternoon so I attempted to back fill. It was special education day with the soldering iron. Stuff stinks

I had my buddy draw this up for me. The objective was to get it close to the script of the impala side emblem..
I want to somehow incorporate this onto the covers. I plan to sand them down today. Sand paper finally showed up yesterday

I cleared them at noon with slow activator and reducer. Still kinda soft but like a little kid, I had to set them on the engine.this will close out this thread. The process was
Plastic weld back side with nylon rods
DA 60 the corvette letters
DA 80 AND 180 panels
6 coats epoxy
4-5 days later sand 400 dry and 600 wet
2 coats green, 3 coats clear.

Thanks Jim for the advice. This forum is a gem.
