Need some advice from others that have some experience with the SPI regular 2K primer. I'm a hobbyist working on a '41 Ford PU project. I received 2 gals. of 2K primer plus activator about 3-4 weeks ago from Barry. It's been stored in the house at about 72 degrees. I just opened one gallon, then the other (first time lids were opened on both), in preparation for priming my hood. I was shocked! The paint is amazingly thick - like pancake batter. Surely, this isn't normal, is it? I haven't tried it yet, but it's hard to imagine that reducing as much as 25% will put it in sprayable condition. As I said, I haven't used this product before but I've used several other brand 2k urethane primers and have never seen anything like this viscosity. Just needed some reassurance or confirmation that this is either normal or not. Thanks. -Ken
