new base coat gun

So I order a new Sata hvlp 4000, should be available in about a week. I'm wondering how much better it will spray over my NR 2000 hvlp? I often wonder if companies just tweak the paint gun slightly to have a new product to sell, and often wonder just how much better they spray? I do like the way my RP sprays clear, but wonder if there's a big difference in the generations of the hvlp guns in terms of spraying base coat....thoughts?

I can't speak for the HVLP guns, But comparing a 2000,3000, and 4000 RP gun, the biggest difference is the comfort and fan adjustment. I can't really tell that one does any better than the other (with the exception of the 3000 being a 1.2 that I use for base only) the 2000 and 4000 seem pretty comparable for performance. The 4000 has a slightly more comfortable feel due to handle shape, and a slightly wider fan, but otherwise not a big difference in my opinion, others may feel differently.
