New(er) Presta 2-step system

My jobber called eagle direct and that is what they said. Unfortunately their distributor doesn't keep much eagle in stock so they don't have any of the wet.

oh good lord.....

Dear James,

The Buflex Supertack Wet sanding disc 193-1502 was discontinue recently due to low demands because everyone is changing to dry sanding.
We recommend to use the Buflex Dry sanding disc p/n 193-1535 ( You also need interface pad p/n 971-0063)
If you prefer wet sanding, it is still available in PSA type 6" disc p/n 192-1502 ( interface pad p/n 971-0014)

well i guess ill be doing that step dry as well. i certainly dont mind dry but i have never done dry that fine of a grit. i wonder if it loads up and lasts as long. well its either that or i hope 3m revamps the 3000. rumor has it they were.

I haven't used it on a whole car yet, just on small pieces and bike parts. It doesn't seem like it loads up too bad to the point of not sanding anymore.

Interesting on revamping the 3000. That would be nice.

yeah well the 5000 is sooo much better than the 3000 now. the 3m rep here said they were supposed to go back and make the 3000 now with the same tech as the 5. who knows though. i wont hold my breath. i still have 4 boxes of the green bufflex wet so maybe by the time that is all done....
