Wouldnt that violate the flash time rules that I have been reading about on here for so long? Why is a double coat the correct thing to do in this case?
Shine doesn't have to worry about flash times when double coating because he lets the primer sit for a while before blocking, his two coats back to back essentially become like one single heavier coat, no solvents trapped either way by the time he's ready to block.
This is how I understand it, but have no better explanation. Hopefully someone else will answer the question in a better way.
