Hello all
I have a se5 of 70 chevelle wheels at the strippers right now
I am planning on ordering 1 quart of spi epoxy primer
Here is my question

If I don't need to do any repairs on the wheels can I do the following
Spay the wheels with epoxy prime

Coat with single stage paint with in the window time

1 thing to note
I have to spray the back of the wheels dove gray
The front of the wheels argent silver, then tape off to spray the pockets black

Is this a proper game plan

The way these wheels are if I spray with 2k and sand for paint I don't think I can effectively get to all the areas

Thanks guys

Wow! We need to see what you have and what you want to end up with. What sort of stripper are you using? Blasting, chemical dip, electro dip? Stripped is a vague term, No matter how you get to bare metal SPI epoxy is your best start. Different types of stripping require different prep though.

My wheels are being sandblasted
I will attach pictures when I get them back
I am hoping to end up with nice factory original wheels
I am waiting right now for the ppg paint codes from a friend and will purchase the paint when I receive the codes
