overspray from cutting in jambs, how to proceed prior to paint

Hi guys,

I'm curious on everybody's opinions on how to address overspray from door jambs and cutting in parts. Do you personally sand it all off before painting the exterior, or do you sand the texture out of it, seal and spray assuming it all landed on prepped panels?

If the particular job merited it be done that way I would do my final prep/block sanding on the exterior after I cut-in the jams.

The overspray shouldnt be that much. If you just sand the oversprayed regions with the same grit as your final sand, you wont ever see a difference.
I would get the texture out for sure.
