Paint fixes.

I’ve got several little scratches and dings in my original paint 2007 gmc truck. How do go about getting them to look better? I have base coat left over from some repairs I’ve just finished also all the wet sanding grits and a new rotary.
I’m thinking of going around with a small brush or Q tip and touch up these spots. Wet sand them down a little with 2000. Then polish. Does this sound right? Thanks. Here’s a pic of what I’m up against.

Is that originally bc/cc? It's going to be hard to do if it is bc/cc......... Or do you have single stage in the color to use?........ If so, piece of cake.

Yes original bc/cc.
At what mix ratio base and clear?
Those pens look real cool. I’ll look for them thanks.

So using bc/cc to fix that, what is the procedure?

Apply the base coat, sand level, then apply clear coat, sand level and polish?

The answer is going to depend on how you want to apply it. I would try without reducer first. I don’t think there are any firm recipes. Some experimentation and tweaking will likely be needed.

I would not reduce it since you’re already essentially diluting it down with clear. The reducer is making it sprayable and flow out.

However if color is way off then maybe you will need some reduction.
