Panel painting advice

I just welded in new rockers and cab corners on my friends 98 chevy 1500 and am going to paint the cab, the truck is solid red. would I be able to hang the doors and paint them off the truck without a noticeable difference? The truck is not a show truck, just one to be an every day driver.

Solid colors you can go ahead and hang them however you want.

Hell, even with metallic colors I have been in the "Dont really care mode" and set them up however and had no issues, but if its something I really care about the results I always try to hang them up in position.
