I will wipe WGR over filler as well, mainly to remove dust. I’ve never had an issue doing so. Just give it plenty of time to flash off.

I do the same. Usually help it along with a heat gun on low.

Regarding the sanding blocks, and keep in mind I know little, but I did find it difficult to sand that area with the Dura Blocks as they are too stiff. I kept trying to bend it for the curvature of the roof and and that didn't work out so good. That's not a big deal on the filler here at this stage but will definately be a big deal when I go to blocking the car out prior to paint.

So Dean, are your sanding blocks the "Black Diamond" that I saw? I just briefly skimmed the thread that was linked above? Haven't had much time to look them over.

Yes, Black Diamond Blocks. Here is the website: https://blackdiamondblocks.com/
And they will definitely work well on that roof as well as flat areas.

The main thing is choosing the right size and shape block for the area youre working. Sometimes the block that you think will be ideal for a particular area, isnt.

I've never sprayed W&G remover directly on filler but will wipe across it with a wet towel. Just to get any dust that air may have missed. Then allow 45 minutes or so for evaporation.
