I sprayed it this evening, I didn’t try to blend the paint just sprayed the whole thing. I was overthinking it, I think it turned out good considering I am only a part time painter. Thanks guys.
That color was a real hard one. A ton of variants. Good choice on not blending. There's not enough of the adjacent panels butting up to it to make a difference. Now, you're ready for White Diamond!
My dad's truck is that color and he had it repainted at a dealership. (Insurance paid) and he brought it by afterwards and I was really surprised at the work of the dealer. Blochy uneven coverage down low and they didn't fix some hail dingers on the hood even though the whole truck got painted. He loved it but he doesn't have the eye for it. He's 84 yrs old.
My dad is 83 and has taken care of the truck, he has had it fixed before by a collision shop. My dad and mom told me that the tailgate looks better than the collision shop work, I am glad they like it. Thanks guys for always helping me out.
His truck is clean as heck. Its a 2003 1500HD, used to call them heavy halfs. Interior is immaculate and with a new paint job its probably worth 20k maybe more these days
