Possibility of clear epoxy primer?

I love the bare metal look for different kinds of projects and I know the only semi-reliable method would be to powder coat clear but I was wondering if a clear epoxy primer would even be possible to create. I know plenty of guys who will just spray urethane clear over metal and not worry about it...but that's not a chance I would take with my reputation on the line.

The answer on a clear epoxy is really simple, for the answer all you have to do is look at the color of the activator (root-beer)

Too make one clear would really be a weak set up.

Ok thanks Barry. I figured it must be impossible otherwise somebody would have it. I definitely wouldn't want to weaken the formula just to make it clear.

Can be done and I think there are a few out there but to do it, I doubt it would be much better then an aerosol can type product.
