This is a patriotic thread in protest of Craftsman tools laying off all their American workers

They have chose to send the jobs overseas to increase profits and screw the middle class in this country.

Cornwell is still here, aren't they? I just got a Dynabrade palm sander and it's my first one of their products but definitely not the last. Great tool.
 
I dont think Craftsman going to china is going to hurt their quality that much more already. I think the once QUALITY TOOLS they made are far far gone and a thing of the past
 
Dont get me wrong,. I hate to see any American lose their job, I am simply saying the quality of the tools is crap IMO.. Old craftsman is good stuff.. New craftsman the last 15 years or better again IMO is crap
 
There are allot of tool companies like Devilbiss and snap-on to name a few that make there low end (startingline) (blue point) junk overseas but they still make quality USA made stuff for there high end.

It's funny how my honda buddies HATE Chinese stuff but prefer Japanese made over American made. They always say (no fast cars ever came out of china) Then I usually remind him that my camaro can wax his honda and I have a/c and cruise! lol
 
BTW THANK YOU SPI!!! It always makes me smile when I see that American flag on the side of all the SPI cans when I get them out.

I WILL pay more for something with that flag on it. I was born under it and I will die under it!!!
