What would cause a gun to spray heavy in the middle, hardly any fan and heavy stippling everywhere else? Aircap seems clean. I changed the air ring and nothing changed.

Thanks!

I've run through those possibilities. The spreader has only 2 revolutions. I'm at 1.75 out. It's only happened recently and nothing has changed from before.

Only thing that comes to mind is the fluid cap isn't tight to the body of the gun.

Pro-Lite has a ton of parts so maybe this diagram would help to ensure that everything is there.

I've cleaned the air cap and ensured that the tip is tight. Reduction is the same. I'm perplexed. I'll put it in some cleaner tomorrow and let it soak for a little while.

Did you break down the gun completely? I had a crappy pattern and found dried epoxy skin wrapped all around the needle on the innards. YMMV

I soaked the tip and cap in carb cleaner this morning. Found a strange piece of debris on my glove when post soak cleaning. Maybe now, I'll just get orange peel and not orange peel and runs.
