keep me in the loop....thanks

Is there an easy way to find a local jobber that carries ProSpray? The one that I used to go to has dropped ProSpray for whatever reason (it seems like they change lines every couple of years) and the new guy at the counter didn't have any suggestions. I live in Miami and there must be at least 20-25 jobbers in the county. Searching the online yellow pages didn't help much. ProSpray's website doesn't show local jobbers.
Should I call ProSpray? Thanks.

I get mine from ChadS on this forum. If he's not climbing under, in or over one of his projects I'm sure he can get it for you or help you get in touch with someone who can.

Thanks guys, when I use up what I have, I'll get in touch with Chad.

Lmao!! Always something to work on.

would love to use pro spray problem is color variences.ive written pro spray and got no response.chad could you give me a lead on a local.im just north of chicago il.libertyville to be exact.my zip is 60048.cell#847-271-4859.give me a call.thnxs in advance, russ

No, they won't even tell me who the other suppliers are, it's some big secret or something.

What do you mean by variances? I can mix the variances.
Color deck is in the thousands, i forgot how much they said when he was out.. 3k or something, I don't even have one. I always mix prime, in the years i've had the system mixing paint for me the shops and people that call I may have mixed 12 variances or so.

If you want a deck I can get you one but be prepared to spend some money.

The first deck they made me buy is worthless, it shows a blue printed chip, and has like 5 different paint codes on it, mix it.. looks like none of them.

The new ones are suppose to be better, I just can't justify the expense for something I would rarely use.

Lookin for bmw code 372 for a 2002 3 series.how many variances do you have.and how much qt.,and gal.thnxsbrutha.sata out

so how do i get the 3 colors to pick 1.thats the problem.pro spray dont seem to care.would love to use it as ive read nothing but good things about it on the board.christ im 15 minutes from chicago, you'd think pro spray would be around.so anyways how do i get to take a gander at the colors.thnxs in adveance, russ

Unfortuneatly I don't even have a way to look at the 3 colors without mixing them up, but haven't found a need to, I have mixed some variances at times to compare and the prime formula has always been the way to go. So with that said, even though I should maybe spend the thousands on the color books and $500 or so every year for the updates, I just haven't seen a need to do so.

And the few times we have had to tint or adjust a color, the times I have mixed a variant, I ended up tinting the prime for best match.

Also even if their was a rep in chicago, their would be no guarantee that he would have the color chips. The new ones were just released over a month ago.

This has been the biggest downside to pro-spray, the customer service and the lack of color chips. Now they have the color chips but I don't see all the jobbers jumping on purchasing them at the cost.

The biggest reasoning I would see to purchase the chips would be to see the color variants for custom paint jobs or when you want to alter from a original formula to get a different look when doing a job, but for the everyday match, prime is the way to go.

All of that being said, if you want all the variants mixed that can be done, just give me a ring and we can discuss it. The ones you don't like use as a cover coat to your project. But that is entirely up to you. I will try to help out if I can.

What city in So Cal? I found a great jobber in Newport Beach. Really good with color match, too. They were able to mix a custom color for me in about 10 minutes that I couldn't get anyone within 50 miles to match. And, she did it by eye.
