This sounds almost too good to be true. Totally soluable in water, 10.2 ph, just evaporates with the water no need to rinse.

Thoroughly cleans the bare metal after blasting and prevents flash rust for up to 5 days depending on conditions.

Its approved by Sherwin Williams, Valspar, GM, PPG, and many more-----what about SPI?

Not SPI amd my question is how did some of the majors approve it when there are a few, that don't even recognize Sodablasting?

Although I have heard it works pretty good, have not tested it myself.

In reading the information, I'm not sure the majors are necessarily giving their blessings on soda blasting, but just for holdtight after general media blasting.

Agree we are getting half the story!

where are the recommendations from the majors?? all those links went to the same company.

The last I knew, three of the majors would answer with " We have no recommendations for neutralizing and no other knowledge of Soda'

I guess its just another one of those products too good to be true. I called holdtight for PPG verification and he said he would have to look for it, so I called PPG tech line and they said no, they only recommend what they sell.

This link lists the manufacturers, and there is a name and number for PPG, but when I called the number it suggests calling a different one, and at that one there is no one by that name. Thanks, Barry.
