Question on recoating after filler work

Hello all, I’ve searched and read several posts on here but, am more confused. I’m just finishing up gapping my car and will epoxy prime the repaired areas. My car already has 2 coats of epoxy on it. Like others, I can only work on my car once, sometimes less, per week. I’m planning on starting the bodywork/filler stage. I’m planning on scuffing the existing epoxy with 180 before applying filler, correct? Then when the filler work is finished, apply another 2 coats of epoxy to seal? I will most likely have to leave the car in this stage outside of the 7 day adhesion window. How long can I leave it like this? When ready for the next step, I should scuff with 180 and apply more epoxy or can I apply 2k primer? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

"This epoxy does not need to be sanded if it is primed over within 7 days. Epoxy can be recoated up to 14 days later without sanding. Always primer over the epoxy within 7 days. After 7-14 days you can sand with 180 grit and apply filler or primer. After 14 days, sand the epoxy with180 grit and re-apply the epoxy." Pasted from the SPI Epoxy TDS. As for as I can tell, the only question you have that is not addressed there is "How long can I leave it like this" You can leave it for years if needed.
