I had intended and unless you guys say different, I'm going to hang my doors in a way I can paint both sides and and all edges at the same time to avoid having a cold joint. I assume it should be vertical so that it lays the same as the paint on the body. I'm using HOK jet black, but I bastardized it and added 2% fine silver pearl. You can't detect it in normal light, but it highlights high points etc. in the sun. I can see it would be a lot easier to paint the door laying flat on stands, but I assume I need to treat this as a metallic paint and paint in the same position as it will be when its on the car? Any comments? Thanks, Bill
