Removing Seam Sealer?

What the best method. I have one of those 5 in 1 putty knives that I have been using with a heat gun. It has worked for say 90% of it, but now I'm down to most of the real small stuff. What do you guys recommend to get the rest of it out? Should I now soak the seam in a chemical (lacquer thinner or such )? Thanks for the advice in advance.


 
i used a wire wheel and wire cup on a grinder with great results
 
Mineral spirits works for the most part.

I say most part because I am sure there are concoctions out there that it wont take off.

Works better that lac thinner as it doesnt evap so fast and has time to "sink" in.
