Sanding grit for epoxy and Featherfill G2

Nice work.. I like how you blocked it down brotha.. Thats how you do it!!

i'm not sure blocking a coat of epoxy would be worth it here. if your already at 320 why not hit it with 400 - 600 then epoxy and paint. it takes very little to knock down 320 .

I personally just wanted one uniform coat. I had some metal showing and wanted to lock it all in. Plus with one last coat I get a final look at the car wet and I can verify everything is good before I clean the garage and prep for paint. Honestly I guess I'm just paradoid of missing spots on my bigger projects that I may overkill it. I guide coat everytime I block but I have found areas I wasn't happy with before in the past on other projects.

Who knows. Maybe it just gives me more time alone in the garage at night so I don't have to deal with the wife!

I do the same thing. Without having the experience of painting hundreds of cars behind me I find it just gives me peace of mind. Also, if there are any issues I generally find them while sanding by hand since I am looking at every square inch of the car.
