Scuffing epoxy sealer before base?

Gonna be getting ready to finally shoot some color/clear. I plan on laying down SPI epoxy as my sealer coat. Plan is, saturday sealer, base sunday and clear monday. Should i scuff the epoxy before i base at all?
 
I see no reason to, other than removing any trash in the sealer. Check your re-coat window on your base for applying clear...not sure which system you are using.
 
I wasn't sure if it was required or not, i have seen posts where Barry said he lightly scuffed before base. I'm using pro spray base and SPI UC.
