Whitesnake
Newbie
So at the moment all I have on hand is white sealer. I use the sealer for 2k primer and sealer just not reduced as 2k. Anyhow, I’m touching up a small area on a dark blue Hyundai. It’s just a section maybe a foot long on the plastic rocker molding. I’d prefer to have my primer darker than white for coverage as I’m blending the base and its a bit of a translucent color. Is it 100% frowned upon to add a little bit of the base coat to the primer to get it darker? Or I have black base I could add? I’m sure it wouldn’t take much. Only other thing I have is black epoxy which I’m sure is a big no no. I know, I could seal it with black epoxy I’m just trying to keep the repair as simple as possible. It’s not a customer car it’s a dealer car and a small spot but needs to be done asap. If I can’t make my primer and darker I’ll have to deal with epoxy I suppose. Open to suggestions, thanks!
