First time, sprayed the interior in SPI White Epoxy...went well.
Second time, sprayed the roof, quarters and tailpan...ooops. Looks like I painted the car with bedliner (SPI Black Epoxy).
Parameters:
It is 100+ degrees here in Houston with humidity that is best described as phenomenal.
Prepped with 80 grit bare metal & scuffed e-coat, and wipe down with waterborne.
Epoxy Paint was about 9 months old.
Mixed the 1:1 ratio and let it sit about 30 minutes...maybe 45...(was this wrong at this temp/humidity?).
Seemed to "Splatter" out of the gun, adjusted volume down more...maybe not enough paint (shouldve adjusted up?)?
Water in the line? (I had a new line filter but in this humidity/heat it could've been overwhelmed instantly).
Car was painted outside, however it was shaded and mostly cloudy. (metal was not warm(er) to the touch)
Can anyone rule out the age of the paint?
What is the recommended plan from here?
