Shooting it with an Iwata 1.4 silver cap - any gun recommendations or would it be about the same as regular base?
I shot the Pro-spray in the same gun except I stupidly didn't write it down or at least that I can find, would 20 to 24 w/the trigger pulled be adequate, anyone have experience with this stuff?
thanks!
I just pulled the tech sheet online & I still don't really understand how they can recommend 8 to 10 PSI at the cap, probably just me being dense but thats with the trigger pulled-correct? So if I'm running the wall reg on the end of my Sharpe 3 stage dryer @105 ish #'s & the gun reg @ about 28 to 30 that gives me around 20 w/trigger pulled or somewhere close to that, if I set it so I'm getting 10 psi w/trigger on the paint will be sputtering out of the gun I assume. At what point is it a "go by feel" thing for the pressure & fan vs. following a tech sheet.
Since I dont spray that often it takes a bit to get back into the right mindset for the different types of paint.
