If what I'm seeing at SEMA is an indicator, then the current popular modified vehicles are;

- 3/4 ton pickups with "$100K erector set lift kits"
Seriously saw at least 200 like this

And Tacomas, New Broncos, and Lexus SUV's with pop-up tents on top, awnings, and snorkels.

Call me old, grumpy and cynical, but I don't think these high $ rigs see much dirt.
And I'm not really a fan . . .
But some real $ is changing hands!

An adventure for sure. A bit overwhelming to be honest.
110k attendees. Town is crowded, lines for everything. $4 for bottled water says it all . . .
