I saw the posts with using SPI epoxy black for underhood paint. I would like to get the same look on an aluminum intake, valve covers, engine accessory brackets, etc from a 1994 mustang. Later would use the gun for body panels/cars. Maybe 2 different guns are needed for large panels and small engine parts?
What gun would you recommend? I see the Vapor 2.0 recommended for epoxy, but will it be good for small parts with no zebra stripping?
Budget: sata 5000 hvlp or Lhp 440 is within reach if necessary to get a good result.
Experience: I've messed around with a purple HF gun. No formal experience.
