Some misc questions on clear

With UV clear, how long is the recoat window? I sprayed one coat of clear on my hood yesterday (Thursday) and ran out of activator. If the new quart doesn't arrive till monday can I just shoot it over the first coat, or do I need to resand?

How about repairs? If I find a blemish in the clear or color, can I just sand the clear, base and clear over it small spots? What about blending? I think I read one time about spraying reducer first and then clear or should I get some blending agent?

No specific problems yet, just thinking ahead.
 
You can spot sand and if you break through to base just lay a swipe or two of base to cover, no need for blending agent or reducer to burn in.

Rest of hood hit with a Grey scuff pad to be safe.
 
Great, thanks Barry. I can shoot the rest of the clear and move on the sanding and buffing the panels tomorrow!

I have to second that. Last week I called an order in to another supplier of mine. Have left two messages on their answering machine and have still not heard back from them. I'm not sure if they are on vacation or out of business. I'll try them again tomorrow but am thinking this may be the end of a 10 year plus relationship. Barry, if you could help me replace the two products they supply me with I would be done with them tomorrow!
