A good cut and buff makes a job in my opinion. Looks greatI've done a few SPI black jobs, amazing how a polisher makes it look like you know what you are doing!

Thank you…sorry for that random question.I dont know about single stage, but I just cut and buffed some 4 year old euro and it polished out like a dream.
Kind of but not really. It will get harder to buff as it cures out. 24 hours after application is the ideal time but rarely will that correspond to when you are ready to buff. At least for me. If you take it out to min 3000 Trizact or 2500 Buflex then it will buff fairly easy even a few weeks later, provided you are using a good compound and a wool pad.Is there a limited time frame to cut and buff for Single Stage ?
ive cut and buffed it after 6 months sands and buffs fine. i like to let my clear cure out for a long time. and alot of sun time. if i have the time ill let it sit a month, put in sun. and bake iwth my infared lamp then cut it open put in sun and bake some more. then work my way up in grits. get all the solvent out you can wont have to worry about any scratch swelling that way either or it shrinking down on you some after its all done. this is a job with like 5 or 6 coats though. if it was standard 2 to 3 coats probably not as much of an issueIs there a limited time frame to cut and buff for Single Stage ?
