Hey guys I know I need to scuff up my existing transtar epoxy primer ( mustang engine bay ) with 180 grit. My question is, is it a quick scuff with the 180 to break the glossy shine or is it a make sure every nook and cranny is hit with 180. The engine bay has been hit with a red scuff pad already to make sure all the hard to reach spots were hit. Is 180 grit a "to be safe grit to use" ? Only reason I ask is because I see other people say scuff pad is enough. I did message Barry and he told me 180 on the old primer. I just didnt want to ask a silly question like this. Thank you everyone
