Reds

We are coming out with a medium red and a new Dark red, these will be made in basecoat only first and also in quarts.

Pricing will be the same as the SPI red and we should have packaged this week or by next week.

I will be making color chips this week as I have time.

Note the dark red we have now is just to dark, so we have lightened up by about 50%, have not sold any so no harm done.

Orange

We are making the original SPI Orange today in basecoat only, gallons and in quarts.

Color chips and colors should all be ready next week.

Next: a blue or two but this is stressful, so going to work on MSDS sheets for a few months to rest up then I will play with the blue.

Both the med and dark red have been made and cans filled today, I have sprayed the photo paper with both colors and will clear in morning, so chips will be ready Friday.

Little punishment never hurt anyone????

Done with everything.

I think I pointed this out before but will do again.

The raw tints manufacturers buy, there are three or four tints that change color slightly in the sun and the Reds and Orange of SPI have some of these tints in them, so never take at face value.

Set the chip out in the sun for about thirty minutes, then compare to whatever you are comparing to, not a lot of change but enough too go through the extra step.

Secretly deep down, I think he likes it! ;) ;)

lol
It's what happens when we don't give him enough work to do around here. ;)

As stated all chips are ready to be mailed, and all colors are ready to be sold.

If you want them mailed same day, call before 10am EST.

I wish you'd make the viper blue again. You don't have to tell anybody you're making it :) but I love the color so much I want to paint all my future cars with it!! People sure go nuts when they see the color.

Josh, when I get bowling done in next month, I will finish up the MSDS and then going to look at blue, the viper was on the list to look at, along with my own concoction that I made for SOF a few months ago. This will be a summer project.

Body is at the media blasters now, er should I say skeleton.

Supposedly he will have it ready to bring home this coming monday the 24th. ( He has a reputation of being slow, real slow, realy really slow)

Hope to be ready for some concoction in a month or two.
