does any one here prefer conventional guns?
its what i learned with, and there fore i seem to have some trouble maintaining distance with HVLP. perhaps it is because i only have one, a starting line, not a very good representation i am sure. also it is possible i never had enough air to it, as i have learned here, and from others, i need to only regulate at the gun. and likely more air than manufacture recommends.
i do have a brandy new in the box sharpe finex conventional. would you choose it or the finish line? should i just try both? i know i have tendency to hold any gun too far away. certainly too far away for HVLP.
i did not have trouble laying smooth with the old binks type years ago.........or was that the paint back then?
