spraying core support and inner fenders, Can I...

I am spraying core support parts and inner fenders, Can I/should I just spray a single stage satin black over my 3 coats of epoxy primer? I dont have any need for body filler or sanding primer as these parts will not get a clear coat and they are under the hood. When I get to the exterior of the car I will follow the "perfect paint job" plan. will this work? or...

You can but why waste the money? Unless you just need a certain look.

Other then that, when the SPI epoxy is cured, there is no paint as strong or chemical resistant, so any coating would be going back wards.

so I dont need to top coat the SPI epoxy at all? What do you suggest the inside of a fenderwell? I hate to say it but... what if I was finishing up a gallon of OMNI would that need to be topped? If I shoot some SPI epoxy primer over it, thats all I need? I would hate to thow out money already wasted on the OMNI!

Barry, look at my previous post. what do you suggest for engine bay and wheel wells, I am planing on leaving them satin black(just happens to match the epoxy primer)

The Omni could not hold a candle to the SPI epoxy, scuff the omni epoxy and spray a coat or two of the SPI over it and let set a week or two before putting in engine, if you have time.

I have time, I guess what im asking is ... the SPI Epoxy is all I need for the engine bay and wheel wells?

Thank you! I hate to be a pest, but I am spending a lot of time, money and effort. I just wanted to be sure I was doing the right thing! thanks again. I am sure I will have more dumb questions in the future
Thanks again!

Keep asking, we do understand! No such thing as a dumb question, in my book.

Funny you should say that, I kid you not, I learn something from this place weekly, so it works both ways.
